ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
Deb and I would like to thank everyone who made our annual banding activities so successful. We really appreciate the help from our co-sponsor, the North East Wisconsin Land Trust, which lent us their educational display. We appreciate the generosity of Future Neenah for the use of their folding canopies. The Wisconsin Bird Conservation Initiative was also generous in providing us their brochures and free publicity on their website. Our thanks goes to the guest bander, Ted Bouressa of Waupaca and Chuck Petter of Amherst, for sacrificing their weekends and spending so much time working with the birds and the visiting public during the two special events. Special thanks to Amanda Secor for designing the new Bird Migration and Conservation display we used for the Bander's Jamboree, and to Toni Martin and Terry Lick for preparing the meals and setting up the areas for the public. Also thanks to our two regular students, Amanda Beyers and Tyler Brown for their patience and skills while assisting in the bird capture and processing stages. Other student helpers we need to thank include Josh Stuempges and Allen Kempf. We want to include all the various persons providing digital photos of the birds, the banding process, and the many activities and people at our two events. Deb and I were pleased that Pat Fisher and Ginny Halverson, from the Feather Wildlife Center in New London could bring their educational birds of prey for an educational program. I would also like to take this time to sincerely thank my wife, Deb, for providing the great meals and refreshments, organizing our sponsor's display, obtaining our shelters and convenience stations, hosting various persons from all walks of life, and her assistance during the entire month of May for bird extraction and the banding process.
